Hop Yard Studios, London

Hop Yard Studios is a Cat B office refurbishment project, where 56three were appointed to re-imagine the spaces available to meet new ways of working as Empiric Student Property relocated their head office.

Although the space available was largely open plan, distinctive office, dining, breakout, and meeting zones were created, each expressed by their own aesthetic, and all with a comfortable and homely feel.

By enhancing original features, such as exposed brick walls, the building’s heritage is celebrated whilst using expressed services and vast amounts of planting to provide a luxurious, fresh and choreographed feel.

Multi-functional furniture punctuates the floor plan, facilitating everything from large formal meetings to small casual catch ups.
