Amy joined 56three Architects as a Part II Architectural Assistant in September 2018. Having moved to Edinburgh from Leicester, she completed both her Part I and Part II studies at the University of Edinburgh, graduating from the MArch programme in 2018.
Her interest in community initiatives and sustainability led her to focus her MArch thesis on grassroots empowerment as a means of economic stabilisation in Thamesmead, London, whilst more recent work experience has seen her develop an enthusiasm for refurbishment and interior design, which has been engaged on various projects to date. Amy has previously worked as an architectural assistant in Newcastle upon Tyne, where she gained experience on several listed and non-listed commercial projects throughout the North East, and developed an eye for graphic design. She also has a keen interest in travel, both nationally and internationally, and particularly enjoys visiting historic landmarks, sites and buildings
