Brodie joined 56three in April 2025 having graduated with a HND 3D Design and BDes (Hons) Interior & Spatial Design.

Brodie joined 56three at the beginning of 2025 after a year working in Glasgow. Since joining the industry, he has focused on hospitality and hotel design for clientele around the world on both large-scale and boutique sized projects. Having moved to Edinburgh in 2015 from Australia, he has worked within the food and beverage and hospitality industry, gaining a greater understanding of how design functionality is imperatives to these businesses.

With his studies impacted from Coronavirus, his interest on the impact of community, sustainability and indoor/outdoor living began. This led to his major project focusing on utilising green and blue infrastructure as catalysts for revitalising community engagement, and societal reintegration within Edinburgh’s urban environments. Building on this framework, Brodie has developed a passion for integrating sustainable practices within all projects, from practices, to materiality.

He has a keen interest in travel, both nationally and internationally and enjoys experiencing all cultures, building on his knowledge of international design styles and history.
