James graduated with a BSc in Architectural Technology from Edinburgh Napier University in 2026, having already gained seven years of technical design experience across large-scale masterplanning developments and bespoke domestic projects throughout Edinburgh and the west coast of Scotland.

During his studies, he developed a particular interest in sustainable design and innovative construction technologies, with a focus on Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) façade systems and their role in improving building performance.

James is committed to continually developing his technical knowledge and plans to work towards achieving Chartered Architectural Technologist status as part of his ongoing professional development.
