He has worked across a variety of sectors, including residential, office, leisure and higher education. These projects vary in size and value, from the Borders Innovation Park in Tweedbank, to the City of Glasgow College. More recently he has developed significant experience in delivering complex retrofit projects.

Neil has well developed skills in coordination, negotiating and delivery. Working alongside the client and delivery team, he is adept at finding consensus to move projects forward. The Resident Edinburgh and The University of Edinburgh’s Nucleus are examples of this. Neil’s focus is often on ensuring that designs meet the balance of cost and quality. He is also adept at ensuring that the design teams meets the client aspirations on program and sustainability. Neil has excellent presentation skills, delivering presentations to diverse audiences. This often includes clients and statutory authorities. It will also include more project specific audiences, like resident groups or project steering groups.
