The development of a former industrial site in the town of Rosewell provides much needed family accommodation, with three substantial and sustainable properties positioned around a central courtyard.
Each house has been individually designed to maximise the development potential of the site and ensure living spaces and gardens benefit from a Southerly orientation. The houses have been designed with a simple contemporary vernacular to appear familiar and reminiscent of traditional dwellings.
Large glazed openings connect the flexible open plan interior to the garden, ensuring that the outside space becomes an extension of the living areas.
