During his studies Nathan developed a keen interest in addressing the current unsustainable high street model, investigating an adaptive re-use and sustainable low-cost construction project, which was centered around community focused interventions working with local charities. His project was nominated for the RIBA North East Student Awards.

Nathan is excited by the prospect of expanding his experience in working with the community to create architecture and places that people feel belong to them and benefit their everyday life.
